WELCOME HOME---To the Hell we call Fox Mill!

Kristin LeBlanc is at it again.  She has no vision for the Village of Campton Hills, other than its destruction, and it is very apparent that she and her compadres at opposecampton are really really dumb. Leblanc's opposecampton site continues to preach that the Village is going to run out of its "free money" from the State of Illinois. Free?  Really Kristin? So what you are saying is that there is some schmuck out there, somewhere, that is giving money to the State of Illinois for the benefit of the Village of Campton Hills, to pay for your free services. Maybe you are suggesting that the State is printing money just for us Villagers. I would love an explanation on how my tax money returned to me is "free".

Civic lesson #2 for  Leblanc and her Bozo friends.  That "Free Money" from the State of Illinois is not free, IT IS YOUR TAX MONEY.  Nothing in life is free (unless you are a developer and Kristin gets elected).

Before the Village was formed, who do you think paid for the Sheriff to patrol our neighbors once a week and respond to our calls within 3 or 4 hours (Yes, it took over 3 hours for the Sheriff to respond to a call once)? Who paid for the all the services (or lack thereof) we received from the County? WE ALL DID WITH OUR TAXES.

So now the State says it may not collect local taxes any longer.  OK, what is the big deal? If the State doesn't collect the taxes, then the Village can step in and do it themselves. What does it matter whether you pay your tax dollars to the State who gives it to the Village, or just pay it to the Village directly? Do you really think if we dissolve the Village that our services will suddenly become free?  Surely you are not that stupid?  Or are you? Oh, and LeBlanc raised the Taxes in Fox Mill to the highest in the entire State of Illinois.  If she is elected Village President, then we should expect her to raise the village taxes as well. History always repeats itself.
